A change of train and the views got more dramatic with the mountain panorama spreading out before us. The roar of the jet engines followed close behind as the planes disappeared into the distance.The display was stunning and I’ll never truly comprehend the skill and precision of the pilots flying in such close proximity to the mountains.

Definitely a must-do if you’re in the area in January.I love Switzerland as well and I can’t wait to back there next week to ski. Being able to fly the Lauberhorn with the Patrouille Suisse is a tremendous honour – and motivation.

Patrouille Suisse congratulates the pilot class 13 on completing their formation and the graduation as professional military pilots! We have done the train journey from Zurich to Rome and the vistas in Switzerland were so pretty.I agree and it would have been so surreal watching those jets fly back that low.
