i just started the jak series and i'll admit im prone to forgetting or missing important details in a story; however, if Samos went to the future and met his younger self who then went to the past, why wouldn't older Samos be already aware of the events in Jak 2. Other important characters include Torn, the second-in-command of the resistance movement known as the Underground; Sig, a Metal Head hunter/Wastelander (someone who gathers artifacts from outside the city); Krew, a vastly overweight gang lord; Tess, a barmaid; Errol, the Baron's right-hand man and commander of the Krimzon Guard; and Ashelin, the daughter of Baron Praxis who helps the Underground behind her father's back. Jak and Daxter manage to behead Kor using a portion of the Rift Gate, neutralizing the remaining Metal Heads. However, the arrangement went sour and the Metal Heads began attacking the city more and more. The player takes on the dual role of prot She explains that she is working on a secret project, and gives Jak the At the Underground hideout again, Torn tells Jak that the Shadow wants him to prevent the Metal Heads from reaching "The sacred site" outside the city walls, in order to protect an important artifact. Baron Praxis and the Metal Heads' leader Kor are the story's antagonists. Jak was born to the Grand House of Mar in Haven City as the son of King Damas. These missions serve as a replacement for the previous game's Power Cell collection gameplay. There are fewer characters encountered in The background music adds instrument layers depending on what changed on screen. Jak intercepts Praxis and his men confronting Kor, an elderly man who acts as the Kid's guardian. However, early on the player can discover Jak's \"Dark Jak\" mode (activated with once the eco meter is full), and can unleash a more unruly melee skillset, with eventual dark powers like Dark Bomb and Dark Blast. A patrol of Krimzon Guards approach and Kor offers to help Jak if he saves them from the guards. With his dying breath, the Baron entrusts the Precursor Stone to Jak so that he can save the city.

Throughout the game, the player can collect Precursor Orbs dispersed throughout the various worlds, in order to unlock cheats and other content. The pair realize that they have been transported through time via the rift gate, and are in the future. At other times, such as when fighting the Krimzon Guard in Haven City, the soundtrack would change completely. Credits roll. While exploring the city ruins, Jak and Daxter come across the remains of Samos' hut and realize that they have been flung nearly 500 years into the future, with Haven City built over the remains of Sandover Village. It is the second game of the Jak and Daxter series and is the sequel to Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. The game released on Steam and Google Stadia on October 1st, 2019, coinciding with the release of Shadowkeep. After a brief battle, he kills the Baron and escapes.
